I have a long time passion for electronics and I believe in upgradability and functionality extension over time. As a technology passionate I have encountered many times the need for a specific tool or accessory only to realise that they were not available to buy so I always jumped to the next best thing which was DIYing the product that I needed.
During the time I have built anything from small bits such as signal generators up to penetration testing devices, macro keyboards, control boards for washing and curing machines that are used in resin 3D printing and much more.
When I had to setup a small scale lab to assemble some products, I had to design and build my own testing jigs and assembly machines . This was a great experience and it made use of most of my skills as it it involved CAD design, programming microcontrollers, some hardware connections and lots of patience.
While studying CAD design I came across the need to have a small and portable keyboard that could help me to access quickly the shortcuts that I needed and also that is configurable enough and it is OS agnostic so I have started to build my own as the alternatives available on the market were not exactly what I was looking for.
Today most of my projects are Open Source and are published on GitHub for anyone to build them or take them further and improve on the basis that I have created.
